White Pine Trail

I had a busy weekend! It started Friday night with the Ute Stampede Rodeo down in Nephi. I always enjoy and good rodeo, even if it elevates my anxiety to a 10 every time.

This baby and his little ear muffs just killed me. He was so adorable. He was very content to just sit there with those muffs on his head all night long.

Saturday morning I got up early-ish to head up to Sandy to go hiking with my friend Nick. I was out of town for his birthday so we went hiking on Saturday. The hike was beautiful, but I was very tired. The elevation gain only added to my fatigue, but we made it! My hips are telling me all about it yesterday and today, but it was a great hike.

After the hike, I drove home, took a quick shower and then a short nap. I had to be back up and ready to go fishing that night up Payson canyon. I didn't actually do any fishing. I just sat by the lake and enjoyed the quiet and scenery. We didn't catch anything anyway, but it was a very relaxing way to finish the day.
