Pittsburg Lake

Friday night Aubrey, Kaleo and I headed up American Fork Canyon. The road was terrible, but Kaleo's 4Runner handled it with no problem. We found a campsite and got set up and started dinner. We just hung out around the campfire talking all night. We waited for the moon to come up, but finally gave up and went to bed.

In the morning we ate breakfast and took down camp and then headed up the trail to Pittsburg lake. The sign said it was 1.5 miles to the lake, but it fails to mention that the trail is steep! 1500 feet elevation gain in 1.5 miles is not very fun to climb.

 We finally made it to the lake, ate some lunch, rested and headed back down. Aubrey and I had some good discussions on the trail and it was beautiful, but our poor lakes were shaking so bad on the way down.
